TAFFY and Star met just over a year ago on social media. Taffy has a condition called Fanconi Anaemia which is a rare inherited bone marrow failure, characterised by physical abnormalities. In Taffy’s case, the condition has caused her to stop growing, which is why she is 3ft and she also only has 4 fingers on both hands. Her confidence is admired online and Star reached out to Taffy as she was interested in being more than friends.Taffy started to post videos of them both, and fans weren’t happy. They felt as though Star was only interested in Taffy because of the fame she had. Friends and family were also concerned about the relationship. Taffy ignored all of the hate and judgement, and packed her bags to go and live with Star, moving her life from Texas to California. She didn’t tell anyone she was going. Since then they have been inseparable. Taffy says what she loves most about Star is the fact that she motivates her. Even at her lowest points, when she feels that she can’t do something because of her height or disability, she makes her feel as though she can take on anything.
