Thread: Danville 6/0, White & Black
Tip: Lagartun Metal Tinsel, Gold, Small
Tail: Hackle, Black
Rib: Lagartun Metal Tinsel, Gold, Small
Body: Danvillle 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Yellow
Throat: Light Claret
Wing: Goose Quill, Yellow
Cheek: Hackle, Black

The Kitson is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 435, plate #5). The Kitson is a interesting fly because it has a cheek on it of some black hackle tips. Many wet flies have cheeks of Jungle Cock but this one is a little less showy but a simple and effective method to add some contrast and a target to a fly. --Enjoy
