If there were time for thoughts and prayers
I think that the Time is now
Forces of darkness everywhere
And bloodshed on the ground

What are the people supposed to do.
When leaders won't do nothing right
Who are we supposed to call out to
If we wanna win a spiritual fight

The armor of God has gotten heavy
Be honest how long has it been
since you reported in for duty
To the battle we know we win

Onto victory we go
God's got you covered head to toe
Marching down a narrow road
To storm the gates of sin

shield of faith
belt of truth
helmet of salvation
He guards my heart with rightousness
In every situation
The gospel of peace
Has readied us
To wield the sword of the Spirit
Revealing truth, exposing sin
The Bible's cutting with both edges
