King of the Hill Showrunner Admits Animation Has Gotten WORSE!

King of the Hill returned for recently for it's Season 14 revival and it was met with positive reactions. Showrunner Saladin K. Patterson captured the magic Mike Judge and Greg Daniels had with the show during its initial run and displayed a level of understanding what made the original series work so well, this is a rarity that a reboot was able to capture that essence. Hank Hill is very much a man out of time and his sensibilities are a perfect way to extract maximum social commentary out of so many topics, it was the perfect show to bring back.

Another indictment of modern entertainment is that the techniques used to make the animation so timeless with the original series has been lost to history. One point of universal critique is the bland visual style of the reboot, but due to a lack of skill/talent/knowledge, the techniques used back in the day have been lost to time. Not at all a unique phenomenon to animation and in fact a commentary on how lazy society has become and what we have lost as a result, perhaps.
