Episode 1158: Why did the Lord call Judaism the Synagogue of Satan? Part 2

Hello everyone. in tonight's Bible study we continue with the letter given by the Lord Jesus to the church at Smyrna and what happened to the Jewish Synagogues.

The Lord Jesus in His message to the church declared that the Synagogues were no longer a gathering to learn of the Holy One of Israel but has become a Synagogues dedicated to the worship of Satan.

Wait? What? How can that be when the Jews are reading from the correct scriptures? When the Jews are worshipping the God of those scriptures that was given to them by that God?

Well, all you have to do is look around at churches today. They have the correct scriptures which was given by the One True God yet they are not worshipping Him.

Isaiah 29:13 (NKJV)
13 Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,

That's the problem my friend. The problem isn't with God nor is it with the scriptures. The problem is with the heart of men.

How then is the Jews Synagogues a temple of Satan? Because the Jews have rejected Christ as their King.

1 Samuel 8:6-7 (NKJV)
6 But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the LORD. 7 And the LORD said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but THEY HAVE REJECTED ME, that I should not reign over them.

Luke 19:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’

Do you see it now? The Jews rejected the Holy One of Israel and have accepted Satan in His place.
