Observing the close of WWII on this the 80th Anniversary of the signing of the surrender

80th Anniversary of the end of WWII and the signing of the surrender of the Japanese to the Allied forces in Tokyo Harbor. My father, Frank J. Long, U.S. Navy, was there, as he served on an LCS the 61 boat. Battle commendations: Philippine liberation, Battle of Okinawa, and the first wave of occupation into Japan. Bless their memory this day.
