Day 245 – The End Has Come: Judgment on Israel — Ezekiel 7–9 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

In Ezekiel 7–9, God announces the coming end for Israel because of their sins. The vision reveals not only the total collapse of their society but also the abominations committed in the very temple of God. Yet in the midst of judgment, God commands a mark to be placed on those who grieve over sin, showing His mercy for the faithful few.

Questions:
1. Why is it significant that God’s judgment begins in His own temple, among His people? What does this say about holiness?

2. How does the mark on the faithful in chapter 9 point us to God’s pattern of preserving a remnant?

3. What lessons can we take for our own lives about grieving over sin rather than growing comfortable with it?
