Delta Squad faces their most formidable challenges yet in Act V: Desperation. The journey begins with an epic showdown against a massive Brumak, where Marcus and Dom must disable its arm-mounted guns and legs to expose the driver, leading to a dramatic electrocution that brings down the beast. With the drawbridge lowered, the squad races to board a moving train carrying the Lightmass Bomb. Inside the train, they confront General RAAM, the Locust Horde's most powerful general, armed with a troika and protected by a deadly Kryll shield. After a fierce battle, RAAM is defeated, but the victory is bittersweet. As the team prepares to deploy the bomb, the Locust Queen's voice echoes, vowing the Horde's resilience despite their losses. The Lightmass Bomb is launched into The Hollow, marking a pivotal moment in the war.
