The dragon and serpent of old will try to blind and deceive in the new season – but the Holy Spirit is giving the Body of Christ new eyesight.

Feast of Trumpets, known in Hebrew as Yom Teruah and the Festival of Rosh Hashanah, 5786, begins at sundown on the eve of Tishrei 1 (September 22, 2025) and ends after nightfall on Tishrei 2 (September 24, 2025).

The Different Shofar Blasts

Tekiah: A long, single blast. It represents God’s kingship and calls the people to attention.
Shevarim: A series of three short, broken blasts. It is a cry for mercy and repentance.
Teruah: A rapid series of short blasts. It signifies urgency and the call to wake up from spiritual slumber.
Tekiah Gedolah: The final long blast, signifying the ultimate redemption.
