BEAUTY.

Lovely thou art! ay, lovely,
In spirit and in form ;
A sunbeam glancing o'er life's tears;
A rainbow through the storm;

A snow-drop 'mid earth's darker hues,
Unwarmed by flattery's breath;
A harp-tone flung from cherub hands,
Wringing out joy from death.
