Riyadh Air unveiled its first Boeing 787-9

🔹Riyadh Air of Saudi Arabia has shared images of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which is in final assembly at Boeing's Charleston facility. The released images show that the aircraft has already received the airline's signature.

🔹While this is the first Boeing 787-9 specifically built for Riyadh Air, it already has two "self check-in" events in its history. In 2023, the aircraft provided by Boeing was used for promotional events, and in January 2025, the company received a Dreamliner from Oman Air for crew training and demonstration flights.

🔹With the arrival of its first fully owned aircraft, the airline is approaching the start of commercial flights planned for late 2025. In total, Riyadh Air has ordered 39 Boeing 787-9s and has options reserved for 33 more.
