In this episode of Identity Politics, Kevin DeAnna dismantles the myth of “rule of law” in America, showing how Biden appointed judges, NGOs, and identity politics weaponize institutions to override the will of the people. He argues that populism - once hailed as democracy in action - is now rebranded as extremism whenever it challenges elite control.

He is joined by Glen Allen, founder of the Free Expression Foundation, who shares his story of how being falsely accused and fired and the fallout of Charlottesville’s Unite the Right sparked his fight for First Amendment rights. He discusses defending dissident views, protecting yourself legally during protests, and the Foundation’s work to support free speech advocates in hostile environments.

Finally, Kevin turns to Chicago’s Labor Day violence, criticizing officials who invoke “defending democracy” while failing to protect citizens. He asks whether self-government is possible in a multiracial society, pointing to global and historical lessons, and ends with a warning: egalitarianism without identity and solidarity leads to disorder, not freedom.
