If Scream was meant to parody a genre, Scary Movie was meant to parody Scream. Behold Horror Fans, the spoof film that is gut busting and side splitting in all the best ways. This movie is something of a time capsule to a bygone era. The raunchy comedic tone it takes with the fun it pokes at Horror stereotypes, teen melodrama of the time, and pop culture. A slasher on the loose sees survivors and side characters react in the most absurd and hilarious matter as they retrace their steps to catch this killer. No one is safe as the movie fires barbs at films like The Sixth Sense, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Blair Witch Project, and even The Matrix. Brought to you by the Wayans brothers, both in front of and behind the camera, this movie takes familiar movie moments and turns them on their head in hilarious fashion. Moreso than usual, the nostalgia factor for this one is dialed up to 11, as is the R-Rating.
