Fayette County Circuit Court Judge Samuel Junkin just released convicted child predator Timothy Vess Benton 12 years early—placing him on house arrest but allowing him to freely travel from Fayette County to his family’s newly purchased Gulf Shores beach house.

The kicker? Benton’s family bought that beach house on June 13, 2025, and less than two weeks later Judge Junkin granted him a public defender—proof this was pre-planned. Junkin claims he only did this because the parole board was going to release Benton. But we spoke directly with the parole board—they said they had no plans to release him and never spoke with Junkin.

This isn’t justice. This is corruption in plain sight.
