POS Bullied Disabled Children With Lawn Sprinkler System Because They Used His Driveway To Board Bus

Posted • September 1, 2025: Marion County, Florida — A Florida man is facing charges after deputies say he consistently used his home sprinkler system to spray water on students with disabilities at a school bus stop. Antonio Roman, 61, is accused of triggering his sprinkler system to soak two students with disabilities at a school bus stop. He allegedly did so twice daily: when the victims boarded the bus and when they returned home from school. Deputies say the students’ father told them this had happened at least 400 times, starting in August 2024. He said he had to wear swimming attire to try to shield his children from the sprinklers. During the investigation, deputies observed the sprinklers were aimed at the bus stop and would turn on precisely when the bus arrived and shut off immediately after it left.
