Rapture Date Setting Pitfalls, How It Undermines Christian Faith's Credibility When It Fails

While I believe in a pre-trib rapture, I will never set a date for the rapture for several reasons. The rapture of the church is imminent, meaning it could happen at any time. Date setting destroys imminency since it unbiblically claims it can or could, or even will happen at specific dates.
When the predicted date passes without taking place, it can shake people’s faith and make Christianity look foolish to outsiders.
