Israel was chosen by God to receive divine favor as His covenant people, with the calling to reflect His glory and truth to the nations. Their mission was to live in faithful obedience, showing God's character to the world and serving as a spiritual light. However, disobedience disrupted this plan. As a result, God responded with judgment on earth. Following the warning of the third woe (Revelation 11:14) and the sounding of the seventh trumpet (Revelation 11:15), John describes a supernatural conflict. A dragon appears, ready to attack a woman who is pregnant with a male child. This scene continues a recurring biblical theme: Satan, represented by the dragon, seeks to destroy God's chosen people.
