Big Block Modifieds at Las Vegas

A National career race at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Expert difficulty. The track surface is bumpy all the way around, but does not seem to upset the car. There is plenty of room for maneuverability around traffic. The track does get slick through the middle after Qualifying and slowly gets worse, leaving a small strip on the bottom and the cushion for traction. Lap times do not fall off much at all. I find the bottom fastest all night long, but the cushion can be used without losing much off lap times at all.

A very good race with 2 cautions. The first caution came as Stewart Friesen and Max McLaughlin made contact with McLaughlin spinning out. I was able to keep it near the wall and get by. The 2nd caution came as Alex Payne slid up into Kevin Root, causing Root to flip and I was too close to try and avoid, so attempted to go underneath. Root did come down onto the right rear sail panel, tearing up the entire right rear body panels. Generally traffic navigation was very good with some sliders and dive bombs. I did bump the rear of 1 car and also hopped over the left front of another car. Also scraped the wall a couple times. Overall this race was very good, cleaner than most every race with the Regional series.
