Isaiah doesn’t just speak six woes—he gives seven. In Isaiah 5:8–30 (and continuing into Isaiah 6:5–8), the prophet delivers a complete series of warnings that expose greed, pride, self-deception, injustice, corruption, and rebellion against God. Each woe builds toward the ultimate cry: “Woe is me, for I am ruined!”
In this sermon, “Woe Unto You,” we’ll uncover the seven woes of Isaiah and how they are just as relevant today as they were in his time. These are not ancient warnings for Israel alone—they are timeless truths for anyone who wants to walk in the fear of the Lord and avoid the snares of sin.
👉 Together we’ll explore:
Why Isaiah’s seven woes matter more than six.
The dangers of pride, greed, and calling evil good.
How God’s holiness exposes our sin—and offers hope.
What repentance looks like when light breaks through darkness.
How to apply Isaiah’s warnings to your life today.
