Tasting

Experience of the Presence is like tasting exotic fruit: it is unfamiliar at first. It arrives unexpectedly, appearing out of nowhere and knocking at our door. It unfolds spontaneously. Although silent and unseen, it is always with us. It takes practice to become comfortable with this. The taste grows on you. It takes time. Be gentle with yourself. You are having this direct experience. The mind can’t grasp what’s happening. The intention is to connect, not to be perfect. Use this time to rest from thinking and just be. Allow the experience to be digested and integrated, to sink in naturally.

The Spirit—the Life Force—moves without regard for the mind’s rules, such as “it has to be this or that way.” If we become rigid in this way, we grow lifeless. This is a spiritual meeting: a space in which we can directly experience and be in the presence of That. There are many paths that lead to That.

For those who have seen the pineapple but haven’t tasted it yet, connection is an effective entry point. We connect with ourselves and with each other. Then we wonder, “We are a part of something bigger, aren’t we?” But what is that something bigger? We are in its presence. It’s an experience; it’s a meeting.

I want to put all words aside. I want people to discover for themselves what That is.
