In this video, I show you how to build a DIY Ghost Burner Drive using Tails Linux on a simple microSD card. This project is about privacy, security, and accessibility a way to create a portable encrypted system that you can carry with you anywhere, and destroy in seconds if needed.

Why a microSD card? Because it’s small, compact, and fragile perfect for hidden, disposable storage. With Tails Linux installed, everything is fully encrypted, and persistent storage can only be unlocked with your passphrase. Without it, your files are completely unreadable.

For this demonstration, I added the Bible to the persistent storage folder to show you exactly how it works. I also show how quick it is to destroy the drive a single pinch and the data is gone forever. This is ghost storage: portable, encrypted, untraceable, disposable, accessible, and cheap.
