Collision Hospitalizes 2, LIVINGSTON, August 31, 2025 - At approximately 2:20 pm on August 31, 2025, a red 2015 Chevy Cruze, driven by Jeremiah Joshua Bartlett, 21, of Onalaska, north-bound on FM-350 South. Bartlett came to the light at on US-190 and when the light was green, attempted to pull across 190 (east-bound side) to the west-bound side but was broadsided by a 2003 Ford F-150 driven by Logan Patrick Shaw, 18, of Nacogdoches. The impact sent Bartlett off the pavement to the right and into a drainage ditch. Shaw's pickup slid through the center median and came to rest on the west-bound side of 190 facing west. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, and Officer Scott Paske with The Livingston Police Department. Officer Paske was assisted by other Officers from LPD and State Troopers Sean Barnes and Simon Mijares, and State Game Warden, David Johnson. Bartlett was temporarily unconscious and was bleeding from one ear. Firemen were able to safely remove Bartlett from his car. Bartlett and Shaw were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. Traffic on the east-bound side of 190 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Bartlett is likely facing a citation for running the red light. Both vehicles were recovered by Kwik Tow out of Livingston. This accident remains under investigation by The Livingston Police Department.
