Leaders of the world’s two most populous nations and economic rivals are meeting as a trade war with the United States looms.
Chinese President Xi Jinping is hosting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.
The two leaders are trying to repair ties following long-running border tensions.
