Epidemiologist and author Dr. Peter McCulloughâ„¢ told Grand Stinchfield on evening news that the current bird flu clade 2.3.4.4.b likely emerged from the USDA Poultry Research Laboratory after dangerous gain-of-function, serial passage experiments in mallard ducks led to a lab leak. The inept agency made the outbreak worse since 2021 with the biosecurity policy of culling or killing large numbers of healthy poultry allowing continual reinfection from migratory waterfowl.
