X4 Foundations 13 : An explanation of the current situation. Possible X4 8.00 beta bug

I couldn't start the Pioneer mission chain with the custom start. I tried to do the Pioneer mission chain with a new Young Guns start. It turns out the Pioneer mission chain does not show up for the Young Guns start either. I suspect this is due to a bug in 8.00 beta.

Someone commented that it was jarring to watch my videos when I pause the game to order my ships to scout while I was doing a mission. So I thought of a way to mitigate this problem. I know of this MOD that reveals all the sectors and even provide satellite coverage. This means I won't pause the game to order my ships to scout so much. I tried out the mod with a Young Guns start and it worked. So I tried to use the mod with my Chop Suey custom save, which did not work. Since the MOD does not seem to work with an existing save. I decided to do a new Young Guns start. I wanted to continue the Adventures of Chop Suey, so I played the Young Guns start up to a certain point close to where I left off with the Custom start. I personally like building stations so I decided to start recording as I was building new stations. Thus the game you are watching is actually not a continuation of the Custom Chop Suey game. But I am going to pretend that it is the continuation of the Custom Chop Suey game. You may notice some discrepancies with the previous recording of the game. For instance, my reputation with HOP is now -15 as opposed to 0.
