USDA Closes Southern Border to Beef Due to New World Screw Worm: Larvae Pose Human Threat

The New World screwworm (Cochliomyia hominivorax) is a flesh-eating parasite whose larvae, or maggots, infest and feed on the living tissue of warm-blooded animals. This parasitic infestation, called myiasis, can affect livestock, pets, wildlife, and, in rare cases, humans. Dr Peter McCullough™ told Grant Stinchfield that exposed human wounds pose a risk and the eggs can be killed with ivermectin, the large larvae must be surgically removed.
