Jeremiah 2 — Words That Cut Through the Mask

What if you met Jeremiah walking down the road?
He doesn’t know your name, yet he speaks like he’s known you all your life.
Not memory, but prophecy — words that cut deeper than you want to admit.
This is the voice of Jeremiah 2:
chasing shadows
trusting money, fame, and machines
calling it freedom, until the night closes in
And just when you think you can hide, the words land like a blade:
“Truth cuts deep. But if you’ll heed it… Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
Relating Scriptures:
Jeremiah 2:13 — “My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed out for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that hold no water.”
Matthew 10:37–38 — “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me… and he who does not take up his stake and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.”
Luke 9:60 — “Yahusha said… ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the reign of Elohim.’”
Proverbs 14:12 — “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
A ballad of warning. A call to freedom. A reminder that some truths sting because they are meant to save.
