Valentina Gomez, a Republican congressional candidate in Texas, has sparked national outrage after burning a copy of the Quran during a campaign event.
In a video, she declared: “Islam must be stopped — once and for all. Muslims can ‘leave’ for any of the 57 Muslim-majority countries. I will end Islam in Texas — God willing.”
