Epigraphic Evidence for Viking America

Firmly based on archaeological evidence, it has long been argued that the Vikings did not venture past Newfoundland at L'Anse aux Meadows along the North American coast. Political debating both left and right between contemporary historical schools has yet to find an even field. However, although poopooed by institutional pundits, we now know, that the Vikings did leave testimonies of their landings all along the eastern seaboard, and possibly into the continent. There were also indications of their explorations into the St. Lawrence River as far as the general region of what is now Quebec City.
