This is a tune of mine I wrote about a stream I fished when I was a kid in the Breckenridge, CO area.

Blue River Serenade

I'll dip my toes in this mountain stream
and wade around a bit
And wish I had my fishin' pole
so I could catch a fish

Oh Blue River
you hold such memories for me
I fished here as kid
and you're still as pretty as can be

Fishin' for little brownies
just outside of Breckenridge
in a little beaver pond
with an imitation midge
while listenin' to the kadydids
