2012 Version - 'The Ballad of the Monon Bell'

The song, created by DePauw University alumni Jim Ibbotson, Nancy Ford and Darel Lindquist in 1985 to salute the annual football rivalry with Wabash College, now has a new-look video. You'll find the previous three "Ballad" videos on this page, too. Edited in August 2012 by Ken Owen '82, DePauw's Executive Director of Media Relations.

The two teams first met in 1890 and play the traditional "last game every fall" each November.
