Mrs Moon Stomper, your taste in ska and blue beat floats my boat
but all those bloody punk bands are worse than toothache or a raw sore throat!
You made this little Mod proud of what I am,
especially when you featured The Who and The Jam!
But Mrs M, can you make it your goal
to persuade Mr M to ditch punk for northern soul?

Mr Moon Stomper, how can you listen to that punk rock racket?
I tried to take an interest but honestly I really just can’t hack it.
Despite their energy, it really is a shame
that all those punk and oi bands sound the same!
I am immune to punk rock. I remain defiant
but what did you expect from a fan of Gentle Giant?
