Our show draws parallels to biblical teachings and modern thinkers like C.S. Lewis and M. Scott Peck. We examine the last ten major mass shootings through a lens of spiritual warfare, analyzing their local, domestic, and international implications in today's most troubling contexts. The cost of our present spiritual warfare is just awful - dividing citizen from nation, parent from child and even faithful from God - particularly for those who remain unaware. But, when armed with the full armor of God - we need fear nothing as we wade into the midst of these mighty issues! We must grapple these timeless questions with our penitent response to such profound wickedness, and the true cost of free will, where one of our options is to choose evil. We conclude with Jesus' transformative approaches of love and compassion, rooted in repentance for our own contributions to strife through fasting, prayer, and the radical act love - a love that doesn't benefit the receiver, but, which is offered selflessly for and of the benefit of the object of our love without our hope of any direct compensation. These invested treasures of forgiveness and love, yield dividends of peace and plenty - not only for the persecuted, but, even for the persecutor as well. God has offered us an example and his protection through his only Son, and equipped each of us with hope even to those ensnared by darkness.
