God is good all the time 1421: Why were we given Imagination?

Why did God give us imaginations? Interesting question for us to look at. But we can think of all sorts of things whether they are good or bad. God gave us this ability, but why? Wouldn't it be better if he just made things so we only think of the things He wants us to think? So that is the question, why do we have imaginations?
