The MPD-CW11-TB.100AB-DE75YT-LQ-8.C02-2.N10-M1 from Larson Electronics is a Power Distribution Substation that converts three-phase 480V AC Delta electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC Wye. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

A customer provided cord brings three-phase 480V power to the primary side, which is protected by a 100-amp 3-pole molded case circuit breaker, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 75 KVA transformer converts 480V to three-phase 208Y/120V AC, 60 Hz and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer is equipped with a NEMA 3R 225-amp, three-phase MCCB panel, eight 50-amp 2-pole miniature circuit breakers protecting eight CS8269 twist-lock 250V outlets, and two 20-amp 1-pole miniature circuit breakers protecting two 5-20R GFCI duplex 125V outlets.
