Star Wars: Starfighter Goes Into Production While Rey Movie Crashes

In a Lucasfilm first, an announced project has followed through on its announcement and gotten into production. Star Wars: Starfighter is now filming with the first look at Ryan Gosling shown to the world and the cast announcements coming in thick and fast. This will serve as the 50th Anniversary movie and the second Star Wars film of the decade, after The Mandalorian and Grogu flops into theatres next year.

Updates on other announced projects, like the Rey film/trilogy are few and far between, so consider that the medium is the message in this case.
