Talks on Gaza ceasefire are 'political theatre' without real change: Analysis

US President Donald Trump has held a meeting at the White House on what a post-war Gaza could look like.
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former US Middle East envoy Jared Kushner were at the talks.
They discussed the remaining captives, food aid and post-war planning.

Lorenzo Kamel is a Professor of International History at the University of Turin.
He specialises in Middle East and North African history and he told Al Jazeera that the meeting suggested a “political awareness” that there was no military solution for a “political problem”.
