Pickering Snow Clearing Program Opens — But Why Did Council Block Help for ALL Residents?

Hey Pickering, Great News!!

Applications for Pickering’s Seniors & Persons with Disabilities Snow Clearing Program open Sept 8–Oct 10, 2025. This program helps 750 households with sidewalk snow clearing — but families and working residents are still left struggling with those massive windrows at the end of driveways.

I fought for a solution to help everyone — without raising taxes — but council shut it down. The Mayor even misled residents by claiming it would increase taxes. That’s simply not true.
