Black plastic is made from recycled electronics, such as old televisions, computers, and other electronic waste. Black plastics contain flame-retardant chemicals like brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and organophosphate flame retardants (OPFRs), these are used to meet safety standards in electronics

So if you eat out of black plastics you are likely eating flame retardant chemicals
