New Yorker in Texas! Plus a Lonestar Belles Soiree

This week our son Michael flew in from New York to hang out and visit! I picked him up from the airport and we have lunch at the Malacca Cafe in Southlake where I previously had lunch with my family friends. When Dave came home from work we took him to our favorite happy hour spot, the Tequila Ranch Cocina and we made plans for a barbecue. The next day the guys smoke some pork ribs and some ribeye steak.

Michael showed us his barbecue skills and the food turned out great.

I also got to meet up with the neighborhood ladies. We got together for some fun and games, and enjoyed lemon shots and martinis.
