Canada soon to Ban $10K Cash Payments — Fines Triple & 8 Years of Gov’t Control

The federal government is quietly amending the Proceeds of Crime and Terrorist Financing Act to make it illegal for Canadians, businesses, and even charities to accept $10,000 or more in cash. That means buying a used car, farm equipment, or making a large donation could now land you with fines of up to three times the amount spent — and the government can come after you for it up to eight years later. You also can’t deposit cash into someone else’s account unless you’re authorized. This isn’t about crime — it’s about control — and it’s an outrageous attack on your right to use your own hard-earned money.
