Here's a more details set of advice if needed
1. Change Your Pace
Slow down or speed up a little—if the same person adjusts with you, that’s a clue.
Stop to tie your shoe, check your phone, or window shop—see if they loiter nearby.

2. Use Direction Changes
Take two or three deliberate turns in different directions (e.g. left, right, left). Someone just coincidentally behind you usually won’t make the same sequence.
Circle back on yourself casually—like walking around a block.

3. Enter a Public Place
Step into a shop, café, or transport hub. Stay long enough to see if they wait outside or come in without a reason.
Exiting through a different door can help confirm.

4. Use Reflections
Store windows, mirrors, or even your phone screen can let you discreetly check behind you.

5. Cross the Street
Cross once, maybe twice, at unusual points. If they cross too, that’s suspicious.

6. Landmarks & Dead Ends
Walk toward a landmark (like a bus stop, train station, or park entrance) as if you’re heading there with purpose. Someone trailing you might hesitate.

Avoid putting yourself in an actual dead end, but use cul-de-sacs or quieter side streets strategically to see if they commit to following.

7. Use Transport
Get on a bus or train at the last second. If they board as well—especially without hesitation—you’ve got a solid indicator.

8. Stay Natural
Never look over your shoulder too much—paranoia gives away your awareness. Use casual body language like stretching or checking surroundings while pretending to look at your phone.

👉 If you do confirm someone is tailing you:
Stay in well-lit, populated areas.
Don’t confront them directly.
If it escalates, call emergency services or head to a safe place like a police station, hospital, or busy shop.
