During the third decade of August, Russian units expanded their control zone east of Mirnograd. Attack aircraft successfully neutralized enemy forces in Mayak and efficiently cleared the sewage facilities in the vicinity of the "Capital" mine.

In response, the opposing forces initiated a series of counterattacks on the Russian military positions in Novoeconomichesky, with certain units of the Ukrainian military reaching the outskirts of Malinovka.

It is imperative to understand the sequence of events that transpired during the battles in Mirnograd.

On the right flank of the offensive, as of August 23, attack aircraft advanced north along Kazenny Torz, successfully eliminating the enemy's stronghold in the Mayak area.

The advanced groups advanced to the outskirts of Pankovka, approaching the center of the settlement.

Simultaneously, in the central sector, Russian troops successfully overcame the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the sludge pit of the "Mirnogradskaya" mine.
