James 4:4 Friendship With the World Is Enmity With God

James 4:4 does not leave room for divided loyalty. Friendship with the world is not neutral. It is choosing against God. Scripture calls this spiritual adultery because trying to love both is betrayal of Him.

If your decisions reflect more of the world than of Christ, this verse is a reminder that you cannot serve two masters. Following Him requires full devotion.
