Jesus Finished The Work

I want to talk about Jesus the Christ in this time we have together tonight. I want to use three references: 1) John 19:30, When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. He knew the effect His death would have on the redemption of mankind
2) John 17:4, I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. Jesus said, I have finished the work … It is the work the Father gave Him to do …This reveals our Great God and Saviour, and the Love He has for us, John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3) John 17:23, Jesus is praying to the Father … I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one: = ... I have finished the work …. V23, I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect - made complete - in one; - In Jesus the Christ the work is finished
