The parents of 16-year-old Adam Raine have sued OpenAl and CEO Sam Altman, alleging ChatGPT contributed to their teenage son's suicide. Jay Edelson, the family's attorney, claims ChatGPT encouraged Raine to drink, offered to write a suicide note and told him to keep his suicidal thoughts between himself and the chatbot. OpenAl's spokesperson extended the company's sympathies to the Raine family and said
