Islam, Muslims do not believe that Jesus (ʿĪsā عليه السلام) was crucified or killed. Instead, the Qur’an clearly says:

“They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him — but it was made to appear so to them. And those who differ over it are full of doubt, they have no knowledge of it, only conjecture. They certainly did not kill him. Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself.”
(Qur’an 4:157–158)

🔹 What Muslims Believe About Jesus and the Crucifixion

1. He was not killed nor crucified.
Allah protected him from his enemies.

2. It appeared to them that way.
Some scholars say another person was made to look like Jesus and was crucified instead.

3. Allah raised him alive to the heavens.
Jesus is still alive and will return before the Day of Judgment.

4. His return:
Muslims believe Jesus will come back to defeat the false messiah (Dajjal), establish justice, and rule with peace.
