Come along with me for a full day in the life of a property manager — where every stop brings something different.

Here’s what the day looked like:

1️⃣ Key Copies at the Store 🔑
This might seem small, but as a property manager, you’re constantly making copies for tenants, showings, and backup security. Keys are a never-ending part of the job.

2️⃣ Vacated House Inspection 🏚️
We checked out a home where the tenant moved out early — and found some interesting things left behind. Every inspection helps us see what’s next: cleaning, repairs, or documenting damages.

3️⃣ Blue Tape Walkthrough on a New Build 🔵
At another home, we marked up the walls with blue tape to flag spots that need patching and painting. This is part of the builder’s warranty process — making sure the home stays solid after the foundation settles.

4️⃣ Inspecting a New Home With My Boys 👨‍👦
To end the day, I brought my sons along to inspect a new property before we list it on the market. We went room to room, checking systems, and then got photos for marketing. It’s always special to share these moments with them while showing them what dad does for work.

💡 Property management is a constant mix of:

Legal processes like inspections and turnovers

Partnerships with builders and contractors

And sometimes, family time blended in with the hustle

It was a long day, but a fun and productive one. Being both a dad and a property manager means adapting, multitasking, and getting it all done.
