Violence broke out in Lausanne after a 17-year-old drove a stolen scooter into a brick wall and died while trying to escape the police.

Around 100 other young criminals later smashed up the neighborhood, clashed with the riot police and tried to lynch a local anti-immigration politician from the SVP party (as can be seen in the video below).
