The 1965 Unsolved Murder That Shook Louisville

In August 1965, a trailblazing young attorney in Louisville, Kentucky was brutally murdered. She was a woman who had broken barriers in the courtroom, fought for civil rights, and gave a voice to those long silenced. Yet her life was stolen in the dead of night, and the case—despite witnesses, evidence, and community outcry—remains unsolved.

Was she targeted because of her work as a prosecutor? Because of her rising influence in the civil rights movement? Or was she one of several victims of a killer who stalked Louisville’s West End?

This is the story of a life cut short, a community shaken, and a mystery that still demands answers.
